Supporting the Next Generation of Women in Downhill MTB

Partnering with the Flow Riders Race Team

At Front Range Mobile Bicycle Service, we are not just focused on repairing bikes. We are committed to supporting the riders and the community that make this sport what it is. That is why we are proud to be involved with the Flow Riders Race Team, an all women downhill mountain biking program that is helping grow the sport in a meaningful way.

What is the Flow Riders Race Team?

The Flow Riders Race Team was created to bring more women into downhill mountain biking by providing something that is often missing in the sport. They offer a strong team environment, structured coaching, and a clear path for progression.

Founded in 2024, the program supports riders of all levels. Some are brand new to downhill racing, while others are building on existing experience. The team is organized in a way that allows each rider to progress at the right pace with the right level of support.

What makes this program stand out is its focus on:

  • Skill development through coaching
  • A team based environment instead of riding alone
  • A welcoming entry point into downhill riding and racing

Why This Matters

Downhill mountain biking can be difficult to break into, especially without the right support system. Programs like Flow Riders are helping remove those barriers.

They are building more than just riders. They are building confidence, technical skills, and a strong sense of community in a part of the sport that has traditionally been harder to access.

Our Role Supporting the Team

Supporting a race team means making sure riders can focus on progression instead of mechanical issues.

At this event, our role was to:

  • Keep bikes properly tuned and race ready
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical issues on site
  • Give riders confidence in their equipment

When a rider trusts their bike, everything else improves. Line choice gets better, speed increases, and confidence grows.

The Energy of the Event

This event was more than just a group ride. It was a true team environment.

Riders were pushing themselves, learning new skills, and supporting each other throughout the day. Coaches were actively working with athletes to refine technique and build confidence on the bike.

That kind of environment is what helps riders improve quickly and enjoy the process at the same time.

Why We Support Flow Riders

Supporting Flow Riders aligns directly with what we believe in as a business.

We want to:

  • Make cycling more accessible
  • Help riders progress faster and more safely
  • Strengthen the local riding community

Programs like this are essential for growing the sport in a positive direction.
